The annual Worlds of Opportunity Career Expo is a hands-on career expo for 8th grade students in Southwest Alabama, the event host more than 8,700 students from 66 schools in eight counties. The event is held at the Greater Gulf State Fairgrounds and will feature the following 12 of our regional industries broken into "Worlds": Safety, Architecture/Engineering, Healthcare, Communications, Energy, Construction, Maritime, Aerospace, Public Safety, Automotive Technology, Manufacturing, and Hospitality.
